Well groomed facility. The only downside was the bathrooms located by the concession were not well maintained.

The grounds at the park are very nice and obviously well kept and looked after.

The facility here is well kept and maintained. Has football/soccer/rugby fields as well as baseball diamonds. Worth a visit to come watch Barrie Baycats play ball.

There is a pond in the dog walking area that is perfect for your dog to swim and fetch sticks.

The grounds are very nice. Parking is ok, some lots are a bit rough as they are gravel. The speed humps are a little intense on the main driveway in.

The biggest problem with Coates Stadium is the "fans" that come to "support" the baycats. Extremely rude and aggressive group of people and the staff at the park will do nothing about them. I have heard threats being mad at the park towards other people in the stands as well as other ibl teams, as well have seen the police called to the park to deal with fights games. It makes it impossible to enjoy a baseball game at all while attending. There's supposed to be rules against fans swearing and acting like children but the staff at the park completely overlook there precious "fans" obnoxious behaviour. I would not recommend bringing children to this park If you don't want to have them hearing every curse word and extreme childish behaviour. If this problem was solved the park would probably be one of the best around, sadly after 3 years I have seen no change in anything.
